Overview

This 8-day Ladakh winter tour follows an extensive high-altitude circuit beginning and ending in Leh Ladakh. The journey combines Leh sightseeing with Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri, along with mountain passes, monasteries, remote villages and winter landscapes across the region.

The first day is kept relatively relaxed for acclimatization, with sightseeing at Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Leh Market. The following day covers the local circuit around Leh, including the Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill and Sangam Point.

The route then leaves Leh for Nubra Valley via Khardung La. In Nubra, the itinerary includes Diskit Monastery, Hunder and the distinctive Hunder Sand Dunes. A separate excursion continues towards Turtuk and Thang Village before returning to Hunder.

From Nubra Valley, the journey proceeds along the Agham–Shyok route towards Pangong Tso Lake. The next stage connects Pangong with Tso Moriri through eastern Ladakh, with planned stops around Mirpal Tso Lake, Kaksang La Pass, Yaye Tso Lake and Kyagar Tso Lake before reaching Tso Moriri Lake.
